Nail Woman Building

Nail woman is so enjoy with her working life, so all four designs are having a shop and studio for her to work on what she like, there also have bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining/ living area for her daily life.

First design is a two level house. Ground floor have nail woman shop and her little workshop, also a bicycle and car parking area for nail woman and her customer use. First level have kitchen, living area, bedroom and bathroom. 

This building are make by concrete and glass. The design ideal is come from the dark side of nail woman, since nail woman got a sad history, and she always wear a veil. This is the reason why this building have not much window and why using a heavy material such as concrete, because this building can protect/hide the secret of nail woman. 

Second design is similar to the frost design, ground floor have the shop and working place of nail woman, also the carpark and a toilet. First floor is nail woman living place. Different between design one and two is deign two are even more "closing" design than design one.

The shape of this building is a big steel box which really can't see so much detail from outside, but there have a special design in this building which is the no cover stair, this design can allow the natural light get inside the building.

  

Third design is a long and tall building design, this design is very useful when there are not much space to build a house. 

This design have four level, ground level is undercover parking. First level is the shop and toilet. Second level is kitchen dining/ living area plus a working desk, this level is just like a studio. The highest level is the bedroom and bathroom.

  

The last design is similar to the third design, just try to from the triangle in a different way. Two triangle on the ground and one on top of the other two.

Nail Woman

Her name is Joanna, she lives in a happy family, but the happy life doesn’t stay for long. One day, a fire accident changed her life, her parents died in the accident, only she was alive.
Her whole body and even her face were burnt, except her hands were fine. Therefore, she always had to cover her face and body with a veil. After the accident she moved to live with her relatives which they have a wine yard. Joanna hasn’t been out for a long time, due to have no confidence. However she helped out at their relative’s wine yard with some other workers to collect grapes. One day, the grape’s juice dripped on her nails, and this inspired her that she could polish her nails by different colours. By then, she started polishing her nails, and the workers got attracted by the colours on Joanna’s nails and wanted to get polished as well. Slowly, Joanna realised this could be a business, she used the salary that she received and to get more materials to create different types of nail polish.

Joanna didn’t have enough money to open up a store, but could still have a small business in the Sunday market. The first group of customers was the workers in the wine yard, after a while her business became more and more successful.
After a year working at the Sunday market, she finally has earned enough money to open up a new store in town.
Although Joanna had a difficult childhood, but in the end, she came over with it, and her action has impressed all the peoples. Since then, everyone in town gave her a name called the “nail woman”.
