Nail Woman

Her name is Joanna, she lives in a happy family, but the happy life doesn’t stay for long. One day, a fire accident changed her life, her parents died in the accident, only she was alive.
Her whole body and even her face were burnt, except her hands were fine. Therefore, she always had to cover her face and body with a veil. After the accident she moved to live with her relatives which they have a wine yard. Joanna hasn’t been out for a long time, due to have no confidence. However she helped out at their relative’s wine yard with some other workers to collect grapes. One day, the grape’s juice dripped on her nails, and this inspired her that she could polish her nails by different colours. By then, she started polishing her nails, and the workers got attracted by the colours on Joanna’s nails and wanted to get polished as well. Slowly, Joanna realised this could be a business, she used the salary that she received and to get more materials to create different types of nail polish.

Joanna didn’t have enough money to open up a store, but could still have a small business in the Sunday market. The first group of customers was the workers in the wine yard, after a while her business became more and more successful.
After a year working at the Sunday market, she finally has earned enough money to open up a new store in town.
Although Joanna had a difficult childhood, but in the end, she came over with it, and her action has impressed all the peoples. Since then, everyone in town gave her a name called the “nail woman”.
